“Full House” actress Lori Loughlin is pleading 'not guilty' to conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering along with several other parents involved in the College Admissions Scandal. However, prosecutors have just added an additional bribery charge to their pending court dates.

Loughlin along with Felicity Huffman are some of the highest-profile figures entangled in the admissions scandal. Not only them, but many other wealthy families, test administrators, even coaches are having to face charges.

According to CNN, "prosecutors say some of the parents facilitated cheating on the SATs and ACTs on behalf of their children, and some parents bribed college coaches to smooth their children's path into college."

According to the LA Times, eleven parents including Lori Loughlin and her fashion designer husband Mossimo Giannulli were choosing to fight the charges pressed against them.

However, prosecutors warned the parents if they did not change their 'not guilty' pleas to 'guilty' by this past Monday they would be hit with an additional bribery charge. Four parents ended up reversing their not guilty pleas and avoided the extra count.

Andrew Lelling, the U.S. attorney prosecuting the case told the LA Times:

“Our goal from the beginning has been to hold the defendants fully accountable for corrupting the college admissions process through cheating, bribery and fraud. The superseding indictments will further that effort.”

The new additional charge indicates the parents conspired to bribe the University of Southern California employees.  Prosecutors claim Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli paid half a million dollars to a fake charity to have their two daughters accepted into the University. The daughters were positioned to look like crew recruits even though both of them have never rowed.

Huffman was also charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud. However, her 'guilty' plea was exchanged for low jail time and no further charges being brought against her. Huffman was only sentenced to 14 days in prison, fined $30,000, and asked to complete 250 hours of community service.
