Little Kid Left Sobbing Moment He's Reunited with Missing Cat

When a seven-year-old boy found his cat after it had been lost for seven months, it was like an everyday miracle.

However, it was also due to the power of the microchip. If you have ever had a pet run away as a child, you have an idea of how he felt.

You probably went through the tedious work of calling your pet’s name again and again. You also probably looked through your neighborhood’s hiding spots and put up lost pet posters. However, hope wanes with time. As everyone who’s ever owned a cat knows, cats are anything but dumb. They are perfectly capable of finding their way home if they desire to do so.

Well, the seven-year-old boy was utterly astounded when he found his orange-and-white cat standing in the living room after it had been gone for seven months! He was so overwhelmed that he dropped his backpack, picked up the cat and cried. As he held his cat, he even wondered if he was dreaming.

After he was done sobbing, he experienced the most joyful laughter of his life. We will likely never know exactly what that cat was up to during its seven-month leave of absence. But in the end, all that matters is that it got back home in one piece.

This story is a reminder of how important it is to have your pet microchipped. If you don’t and your pet gets lost, it could meet a very jagged end. The one thing that has never completely lost with pets is their instinct to explore the world. Unfortunately, they also don’t know how dangerous the world can be.
