Little Girl Sings Queen Megahit Giving Crowd An Unforgettable Performance

Legendary British rock band Queen’s song "We Will Rock You" is one of those classics you can’t help but sing along to. When a little Bulgarian girl named Polly Ivanova performed the song the crowd went wild.

Wait, though—you don’t have to sing along if you don’t believe in your voice. The song was designed for large crowds to participate using claps and stomps. This creativity is what made the track a hit, and popular at sports events.

One Bulgarian girl named Polly Ivanova owned the song. Using a voice so powerful that it surprised everyone, she sang out the lyrics with confidence that would have made Queen front-runner Freddie Mercury proud. You can watch the performance here.

In the video, Polly belts out the song, unafraid of the crowd surrounding her at the football field. When the guitar solo kicked in, we can imagine it felt like a Queen performance.

While we no longer have the record-breaking rock band to fill our stadiums, we are lucky enough to have people ready to cover their music. Because of brave singers like Polly, these songs will never lose popularity.

Ironically, when the band wrote "We Will Rock You", they didn’t intend for it to fill football stadiums. Regarding the unique layout of the song, drummer Roger Taylor told Billboard: “It only has one instrument apart from the voice: There’s no bass, no real drums—just feet and handclaps and only that guitar at the very end. It’s quite an odd song. It was designed as a sort of song for the audience, a joining-in song. But we never really envisioned that it would be taken up by sports.”

It just so happened that the song was perfect for riling up a crowd at a big game—or cranking it up in your car—or singing out loud with no background music. We can’t resist "We Will Rock You"; it will forever be considered one of the best songs that were ever written.
