A plaza in Sabadell, Spain, in 2012 was the lucky location of one of the most beautiful flash mobs of all time.

It all began when a man smartly dressed to the nines in a tuxedo strolled out onto the plaza with his large string instrument and sat out a hat for tips. A little girl walked up to the man and dropped a coin in the hat. The man began playing the classic Beethoven song, "Ode to Joy."

As a crowd began to gather to hear the beautiful music, another woman joined the man with a string instrument. The duo took the music to another level as people looked on in wonder.

What happened next can only be described as surreal. One by one, more musicians came out onto the plaza to join in the performance. By the time the entire group had formed, there were 100 musicians gathered and playing together in one plaza.

The musicians were a part of the Vallès Symphony Orchestra, Amics de l’Òpera, Coral Belles Arts, and the Lieder choirs, reports Philharmonic Society.

Toward the end of the show, the conductor hushed the orchestra and then brought the sound back up in a chilling ending with the choir joining in. A video of the mesmerizing performance has been posted on YouTube. It is no surprise that the show quickly went viral and is already boasting over 80 million views.

Now you can watch this riveting flash mob for yourself. After you have watched all of these people coming together to make beautiful music, be sure to spread the wonder to everyone else that you know.
