Everybody is handling the coronavirus pandemic with a different attitude. Tampa, Florida father Colt Clark and his family band are taking a creative approach. They're proving that we don't have to give up the joys of music because we are under quarantine.

His band is called Colt Clark and the Quarantine Kids. It's made up of himself, his three children, and his wife (who films their performances and uploads them). When it became evident that we should stay at home, Colt had an idea. He and his children, who are incredibly talented, decided to do covers of popular songs right in their living room.

If you feel like rocking out, watch them perform here. The band works together doing everything, from choosing the song they're going to sing, all the way to recording it for the internet. Their cover of "Come Together" by The Beatles went viral on Facebook, giving the band some well-deserved recognition.

We are all missing the joy that comes from singing along at a concert; Colt realized that singing was the most effective remedy against boredom and panic. We think it's a fantastic way for a family to make good memories during a time that would otherwise be full of tragedy. When all of this is over, the Clark family will look back at what they did with a smile.

While everyone is dealing with this pandemic differently, it's impressive that the Clarks turned it into a time to become closer, to come together. They give viewers a laugh with their heartwarming covers, singing songs that we really like. They even have a Beatles Wednesday, for those of us who can't get enough of The Beatles.

Because Colt lost his job at the beginning of lockdown, a family friend set up a GoFundMe for his band, intending for it to be used as a 'virtual tip jar,' reports Explica. We can all use a little help lately, and considering the work this family is doing to make people smile, it's nice that people are leaving something for them!

What do you think of this at-home jam? Will you be jamming out yourself? Pass this on to others to brighten their day with some music!
