Little Dog Gets Rescued From River And Makes Incredible Recovery

This is a rags-to-riches story for a pup. Back in 2015, Hope for Paws in Los Angeles received a call about a dog floating in the middle of the L.A. River. An eyewitness said a person cut the dog's leg off and tossed him into the canal thirty feet below. The pup was alone for about two days. But don't worry; this story has a happy ending for our three-legged friend.

As told in their video on YouTubeHope For Paws volunteers rescued the puppy with a ladder and a box. He was in pain and could hardly move. They rushed him to a local animal hospital, and on the way there, they named the poor pup Jordan.

The doctors couldn't believe he was still alive. They gave him warmth and comfort. Jordan was given a blood transfusion and the medicine he needed before he was even strong enough for a leg amputation.

The good news is that within a few weeks he was placed in a loving foster home. He had brothers and sisters to look over him. Each day, Jordan got stronger and stronger. He did physical therapy to rebuild the strength of his legs.

He was so fast that it was barely noticeable he was running on three legs. Along with his furry friends, he was playing and jumping. Jordan came so far but deserves to be loved like all of our furry friends.

It's horrible to realize there are bad people who hurt animals out in the world. The good news is that there are also wonderful people that rescued this sweet animal and nursed him back to health.

The number of great people in the world outweighs the bad people. This video of Jordan is such an emotional rollercoaster, though thankfully it has a happy ending.

We encourage you to pass along this story of hope with friends. This will help restore their faith in humanity. A video of a happy three-legged dog is just what most people need to get through the day! And don't forget to let us know what you think about this heartbreaking story.
