Little Boy Picks Up Habit From Mom, Shows It Off When He Thinks The Remote Is Broken

Children being raised in the 21st century are accustomed to having technology as a part of everyday life. It seems that even very young children know how to use phones, tablets, and computers intuitively. Their familiarity with these technologies is amazing to see for parents who were not raised with such gadgets.

Despite being used to these devices, children sometimes interact with technology in the exact same way they've learned from their parents. It is this imitation that really gives parents a good laugh.

There's a video currently going viral of a young boy imitating his parents in a humorous way. Parker is a cute baby boy who looks like he has just learned how to walk. He finds his parents' remote control lying on a table in the living room.

Despite his young age, Parker seems to know exactly what the device is for. He immediately points the remote towards the television. Parker's small hands have a hard time pushing the buttons on the remote.

After nothing happens, Parker becomes determined to figure out what device the remote turns on. Parker doesn't give up, as he begins to pace around the room. He is clearly confused as to why the device isn't working properly. Parker had seen his parents use the remote with success many times before.

In a final moment of desperation, Parker points the remote in a multitude of directions, hoping that something will work.

When Parker realizes that nothing is responding to the remote, he knows exactly what to do with the "broken" device. With all of the negative aspects of technology, it is nice to see that children still observe and emulate their parents.

After failing to turn anything on, Parker assumes that the remote isn't working. He emulates the same steps his parents take when something doesn't work.

With his mother following close behind with a camera, Parker walks towards the trash can and throws the remote away. His mother can't help but laugh at Parker's solution to the "broken" remote. Even though the remote wasn't truly broken, it is still amazing to see that Parker knew exactly where devices go when they aren't working. His parents now know where to look anytime something mysteriously goes missing in their home.
