Playing ball is always a lot better if you have someone to toss it with. So when a little boy was playing with a red ball near a swimming pool at a seapark, one curious dolphin didn’t want him to play alone. Dolphins are incredibly intelligent creatures who are quick to learn the rules of a game. They are even known to make up their own games that they play with each other, much like humans.

The little boy was completely unphased by his new buddy. The dolphin playfully called over, and the little boy threw the ball to him, which the dolphin catches effortlessly. The boy’s parents couldn’t help but start recording this exciting event on camera. How often do you see a little boy playing catch with a dolphin?

The little boy is giggling up a storm as the dolphin playfully “steals” the ball and swims away with it before popping its cute head up to throw it back.
