Lisa Rinna’s White-Hot Makeover Includes Towering White Hair & Theatrical Couture

Lisa Rinna is one of the most recognizable celebrities thanks to her charismatic personality on social media and on the popular reality TV series “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” However, whenever she puts on a wig or does a massive transformation using the power of makeup, people can’t seem to recognize her.
Rinna again brought full theatrical glamour to the amfAR Gala Cannes on May 21, 2026, appearing with a towering platinum-white bouffant and a multicolored couture gown by Kevin Germanier. The annual gala took place at the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d’Antibes during the 79th Cannes Film Festival, held from May 12 to 23, 2026. The event supports amfAR’s HIV/AIDS research work and featured performances from Robbie Williams, Zara Larsson and PinkPantheress.
Rinna, known to many viewers from “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” and “Days of Our Lives,” paired the teased white hairstyle with a floor-length gown from Germanier’s Spring 2026 couture collection. The Swiss designer is known for a circular fashion approach, and the look’s tinsel-like texture, vivid teal, yellow, green and violet details, and beaded fringe fit that high-impact aesthetic.
The outfit was finished with silver open-toe platform heels, statement earrings, multiple rings, smoky eyeliner, bronzed cheeks and a nude lip. The result was a sharp break from Rinna’s signature brunette pixie and another example of the fashion-forward persona she has built outside reality television.
Her Cannes appearance was also connected to a wider style chapter. On Dec. 1, 2025, she attended the Fashion Awards in London with platinum hair, bleached brows and a sculptural black-and-white custom look by Maximilian Raynor. In January 2026, she opened Germanier’s couture show in Paris, strengthening her link to younger designers and experimental red-carpet fashion.

Rinna’s amfAR Gala Cannes look stood out because it treated fashion as transformation rather than decoration. The oversized white hair gave the outfit a vintage-screen-siren silhouette, while the Germanier gown added a modern sustainability message through its use of reclaimed materials. At an event known for glamour, philanthropy and celebrity spectacle, the combination felt designed to command attention from every angle.
The setting added to the impact. The amfAR Gala Cannes has become one of the most recognizable charity events tied to the festival calendar. According to amfAR, its 2026 edition helped support scientific discovery and global health work focused on ending the HIV/AIDS epidemic. WRAL News reported that amfAR has raised nearly $950 million since 1985 and supported more than 3,800 research grants worldwide.
For Rinna, the look was part of a deliberate fashion evolution. Since leaving “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” in 2023 after eight seasons, she has leaned further into couture, wigs, dramatic makeup and front-row experimentation. Her fashion background also predates this red-carpet chapter: she ran the Belle Gray boutique with husband Harry Hamlin and later worked in retail television through QVC.
That history helps explain why her Cannes appearance felt less like a stunt than a continuation of a personal style strategy. Rinna has been using fashion to shift public perception, moving from Bravo personality to high-fashion risk-taker. The white bouffant, metallic texture and upcycled couture all worked together to create a character: bold, playful and impossible to overlook.
At amfAR Cannes, Rinna did more than wear a dress. She delivered a full fashion performance.
