Lisa Marie Released A Haunting Duet With Her Famous Dad And It Lived Up To The Hype

It has been over 45 years since Elvis Presley died, but his late daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, worked hard to keep her father's legacy alive through her own music.

Tragically, Lisa, passed away at the age of 54 on Jan. 12, 2023. According to TMZ, Lisa was pronounced dead after she was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital, where she was taken after suffering cardiac arrest that morning. 

Her mother, Priscilla Presley, said in a statement to the outlet that the family was "shocked" and "devastated" by the tragic death of her daughter. They are also "profoundly grateful" for the support, love and prayers of their fans and were seeking privacy during the rather difficult time. 

Lisa is survived by her mother, Priscilla, and her three living children, Riley, Harper and Finley. 

Throughout her life, Lisa Marie often turned to her father for motivation. Lisa Marie went through a difficult time in her life and was left struggling to find the right path.

She prayed to her father to help her and turned to music for courage. It turns out that her father was still there for her, but she had to start singing to find him.

In an effort to reconnect with herself and find the strength to carry on, Lisa Marie turned to the microphone. She ended up performing a haunting duet with her late father in 2018 when she released “Where No One Stands Alone” to great fanfare.

Her fans were absolutely in love with the touching duet.

While Elvis passed away four decades ago, the late Lisa Marie often turned to him for love and support. In an interview, she talked about how frequently she turned to her father for guidance, including when she went through a difficult struggle with addiction and needed someone to help her. She spent time praying for her father's help and guidance. Ultimately, her prayers led her to make a track with her late father. Her performance made her feel closer to her father and provided her with the support she needed. 

Thankfully, modern technology made this type of duet possible; Lisa Marie and Elvis were able to create a duet 40 years after he died. This tear-jerking video captured the sounds of their voices blending together. It is clear from the video that the father and daughter shared a special, unbreakable bond. We are sure that Elvis is smiling now that he is reunited with Lisa Marie in heaven.
