We have once heard about Babe's story, a pig that thought it was a sheepdog. However, one Devon sheep breed, Wilbur, has found itself in the same shoes as Babe. Unlike Babe, Wilbur is more of a house pet and enjoys spending time with Liberty, his owner.

Like dog pets, Liberty loves cuddling with her best friend on the sofa, making her friends mistake the sheep for a dog. Wilbur is more of a man's best friend and enjoys playing fetch, strolls on a lead, and begging for gifts.

Liberty bought Wilbur after developing a craving for livestock. During this time, she was staying with her parents in Marwood, Devon. The sheep is one of the most significant possession that the young farmers value. Many farmers looked at her with disbelief when she strolled the four-month-old mammal through her village since she looked more of a Labrador than a lamb.

However, Liberty's best friend has grown to be a firm fixture in her hometown. When they take a stroll in the village, most people turn their attention to them, and some go to the extent of walking over to them.

Most of them can't believe that Wilbur is a sheep since he looks like a dog. This makes people take pictures with him as they cannot even believe he's real. Furthermore, the sheep always have a dog like a trait of constantly smiling, sitting on people's lap like a Labrador, being spoiled with gifts, and begging for food.

The sheep loves spending his time with her, following her wherever she goes; thus, being more of a little best friend than a sheep. To ensure that she reciprocates the love, Liberty always ensures that she takes her little friend for a walk, train him and play with him on the farm daily. Like a friendly dog, Wilbur loves cuddling up, running around, and letting you curl his fur or put flowers on it.

Liberty got the urge to keep livestock at a younger age. Her mother would take her out to the farm, and she would spend the whole day taking care of the animals by giving them water and food. This made her get attached to the animals easily, and she would become sad when it was time to go home.

However, her dad was understanding and would let her stay on the farm if there was an animal that needed her care and help.

Since her young age, Liberty has always been interested in unique breeds, and the Valais Blacknose is one of them. When you get a chance to meet them, you cannot even dream of eating them. This breed has a fluffy cute coat that tends to bring out its attractive and cute appearance.

Since she is a farmer, Liberty also has two Romney sheep, Dumbo and Penelope, and she is hoping to add another sheep to her list. Currently, she has opened an Instagram account for Wilbur to see if she can get into any show. This will create a platform for the breed to gain recognition globally, increasing the breed's popularity. Most people are yet to know if the breed exists, although they have their class.
