Leonardo DiCaprio's And Brad Pitt’s Brotherly Love Was The Greatest Part of Award Season

Two of the biggest stars in Hollywood, Brad Pitt, and Leonardo DiCaprio, have been acting for decades but remarkably haven’t co-starred until 2019’s “Once Upon a Time...In Hollywood!” The two have a lot in common and have developed a sweet bromance that was on full view during award season.

Case in point when Brad accepted an award at last night’s Oscars for best supporting actor. He thanked the film’s director Quentin Tarantino and continue on to say to Leo, “I’ll ride on your coattails any day, man. The view is fantastic,” referring to him in the lead actor role.

Brad’s Golden Globe acceptance speech was also a sweet tribute to his bro Leo when he sweetly called him “LDC.”

“I also have to thank my partner in crime, LDC,” Brad said in his speech. “Before “The Revenant,” I used to watch year after year his costars accept awards and get up and thank him profusely and I know why. He’s an all-star, he’s a gent.”

His last comment was a cute “Titanic” joke: “I would’ve shared the raft.”

The affectionate “LDC” shout-out was an intimate glimpse into their relationship, and it turns out Leo has a nickname for Brad as well. Brad spoke on the red carpet at the SAG Awards and told interviewers that Leo calls him “Lover.” Continuing on as per EW he noted, “It’s a bit confusing, but I roll with it.”

Apart from being professional coworkers, it turns out that they are also good friends. The Sun reported that the two adorably bond over making ceramics at Brad’s studio and eating sandwiches from Fat Sal’s, apparently staying up all night and making art together.

What do you think of Brad and Leo’s bromance? Is there somebody out there that reminds you of the sandwich-loving coworker relationship they have?
