The process of using butter and milk when you are making your corn is rather simple. When you are making a small batch of roughly a half dozen ears of corn, you will want to first bring the water to a boil.

You will then want to add in a cup of the whole milk and as much as one stick of butter. The milk and butter will then dissolve in the water to make it an amazing base.

Once all of the milk and butter has been added, stir up the water again and let the boil continue for about another minute. At this point, you will want to drop in your ears of corn.

Depending on how you like your corn done, you could then leave them in the pot for about seven or eight minutes. Once the corn is done, let it cool and then serve to your guests. The corn at this point would have soaked in a lot of the butter and it won’t need any more spread on it. You can still add a little bit of salt for taste.
