Lady Gaga Sweeps Bradley Cooper And The Entire Room Away Rehearsing 'Shallow' For ‘A Star Is Born’

Bradley Cooper, Lady Gaga, and the rest of the cast of A Star Is Born gathered for a table read before filming to make sure that they got along. While they rehearsed scenes from the film.
Gaga brought down the house with a rendition of Shallow that let everyone know they had a hit on their hands. Though less than 40 seconds long, the clip shows why so many people signed on for the film.

A Star Is Born marked the fourth time that this classic Hollywood story made its way to the big screen, according to Harper's Bazaar. Tongues began wagging almost immediately at the on-screen chemistry between Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga.
In addition to making his directorial debut, Cooper also appeared as the main character, a down on his luck former superstar who falls for a rising star played by Lady Gaga.

Before Cooper gathered Sam Elliott and other cast members for shooting the film, he had them come together for a table read. This helps cast members go over their lines and get an idea of what shooting will hold.
Some of the top things that you see in your favorite films came from suggestions that crew members made during table reads. The director might decide to adjust a few lines or give lines to other actors as well as remove some of the scenes that don't make sense not to mention those that are just plain boring.
During the first table read, Gaga stunned Cooper and the others with a gorgeous rendition of Shallow that she did all on her own, no music or sound effects needed.
Though more than 50 people were in the room, no one could take their eyes off her. It's pretty clear why she won Best Original Song at the Academy Awards as well as why she walked home with the Best Actress honors. You can almost see the tears in their eyes when she reaches the last note.
Though both Cooper and Gaga were in relationships with other people, the gossip mill went crazy about their chemistry, as Nicki Swift reported. It left some wondering if maybe there was more to their relationship than just a professional connection.
You can understand why some felt that way when you see the looks they exchange, especially when Cooper gives her a sheepish little smile at the end. The closeness that they share is evident in the way he touches her too.
