Most critics and fans compare the recent one with Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper to the version with Barbara Streisand and Kris Kristofferson. The Gaga/Cooper version did far better at the box office and attained much greater critical acclaim. Will the new version rise to become the most well-regarded one?
