Lady Gaga’s career is on fire right now. In addition to being a world-renowned musician, Gaga also impressed audiences with her leading role in A Star Is Born. Holding a stellar 90% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, A Star Is Born is being hailed as a modern classic. In the film, Gaga plays Ally Maine, an aspiring singer-songwriter being mentored by Jack, a well-known singer played by Bradley Cooper. In addition to a great story, the film had excellent musical numbers, notably the duet “Shallow,” which was performed by Gaga and Cooper.

“Shallow” has been topping the charts in numerous markets, being certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. The song itself has won Gaga several awards: a British Academy Film Award, a Golden Globe Award, two Grammy Awards, and an Academy Award. Gaga is actually the first person in history to win a BAFTA, a Golden Globe, a Grammy, and an Oscar all in one year.
