Lady Gaga Goes Topless And Makeup-Free In Poolside Video Flaunting Her Natural Beauty

Lady Gaga is a chameleon when it comes to her looks, often changing her style for each new album or tour. From rocking very colorful and vibrant eyeshadows, and wearing metallic lipsticks, to using crystal face gems, the singer is notable for transforming into almost a completely different person when she is on-stage performing or even on red carpets. 

Born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, Lady Gaga is an American pop star, songwriter and actress. The award-winning artist rose to fame in 2008 when she released her debut single, "Just Dance." The singer quickly garnered international fame due to her elaborate costumes, catchy lyrics, impressive dance movements and powerful vocal talents. Her debut album, "The Fame," was released in 2008. She went on to release hits like “Poker Face," "Bad Romance" and "Born This Way." 

While maintaining her highly successful music career, the singer ventured into acting. Gaga appeared in "Machete Kills" and "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For." In 2015, the Grammy-winning artist joined the anthology series "American Horror Story." Lady Gaga received a Golden Globe Award for her dazzling performance in the series. In 2018, Lady Gaga wowed the critics with her remarkable performance in her first lead role as Ally Maine in "A Star Is Born."

Along with starring in the film, the singer-songwriter co-wrote the majority of the songs in the film. The film's lead single, "Shallow," won two Grammy Awards and an Oscar. 

Throughout the years, Lady Gaga has transitioned from her rather outlandish and bizarre looks to a more muted and natural makeup look compared to those before. But it seems like many are still fascinated by the true beauty of the singer whenever she opts for a bare and raw look in her photos. 

For someone who wore a dress made out of 40 pounds of pure meat, an electrifying metallic headpiece and a flower wreath, Lady Gaga has been coined as one of the most fashionable singers in the world with her very artistic expressions. 

While a large portion of her fans loves how she transforms into quirky and unorthodox clothing, many still remain enamored by how her face and natural beauty look exceptionally beautiful. 

In the past, Lady Gaga has been fond of posting selfies and photos of herself without any makeup on. A 2020 photo of her with no makeup and sporting pink hair made over a million of her fans swoon over her beauty. 

“An earthy gorgeous lady. Doesn't need to put chemicals on that skin,” a user commented on her photo. 

At the 2019 Oscars, the year where she earned a nomination for Best Actress, Lady Gaga revealed that she was lent a 141-year-old piece of jewelry from Tiffany and Co. In an Instagram post from February 2019, she revealed that the last person to wear it was the legendary late actress Audrey Hepburn while she promoted her movie “Breakfast at Tiffany’s.” 

“It was an honor to wear it and made my unforgettable night even more special,” she added.

In the photo, Gaga looked ethereal as she looked up. She was bare-faced, which highlighted the freckles that ran across her left and right cheeks. Her emerald eyes were also on full display, which is rarely seen as she is usually wearing contact lenses, or they are eclipsed by other elements on her face when she is wearing a loud outfit.

Comments on her 2019 pre-Oscars look were in unison – she looked like a bare-faced goddess!

“Not trying to be weird by saying this. But honestly, I think this has to be one of the most perfect pictures of any person that I have ever seen. My favorite picture of someone not related to me, that is. There really isn’t anything more perfect,” someone said. 

“Hey Lady G! I just wanted to comment on just how beautiful you are in your natural look. Although I love any way you chose to present yourself, I just like the all natural beauty a little more. Keep on singing and acting, you haven’t even got started yet. We’ll all be watching,” another shared.

The same comments were found in a photo that she posted in April 2022. The singer shared a mirror selfie of hers in a lavish gold-detailed room, presumably from a hotel. Her outfit was more laid-back than the looks people have grown accustomed to. 

She was wearing a crop-top gray hoodie and a pair of sweat shorts with sunglasses. Meanwhile, she posed cheekily in the mirror holding up the peace sign, as if she didn't have a care in the world.

“I love to see her like this, Natural, she looks like a naughty girl who likes to play a lot. You pass me only happiness,” a user commented.

“She is always beautiful. No matter what. I love her personality. She is a great human being. God bless her with a happy and healthy long life,” another wished. 

The award-winning singer stunned once more in 2021 when she posted a barefaced and seemingly topless video on Instagram. Standing outside in the sunshine with the wind blowing through her brown tresses, Lady Gaga appeared to be in a backyard near a pool. Her face was bare and didn't feature one lick of makeup, while her arm covered her upper torso for modesty. Her caption simply said:

"may your 🖤 shine like the ☀️"

Fans couldn't help but comment on how pleased they were that she was embracing her natural beauty. One said, "Just be yourself, natural beauty wins every time," while another wrote: 

"Stunning Literally perfection with your natural beauty and no makeup."

Meanwhile, in 2020, the entertainer posted another barefaced selfie in a similar poolside setting. The late afternoon sun washed her skin in a warm orange glow, while her bleach blond locks and tanned skin popped against the background. She posted an inspirational message on that occasion too:

"Thinking about the world and sending love. I walk in circles and reflect sometimes about what I want to say. I want to say I love you."

While she's a fashion icon, Lady Gaga knows there's a time and place to dress up outlandishly and also to proudly sport a natural look. Over the years she's shown she has no qualms about being happy in her own skin — even at events in which celebrities usually dress up. People were elated when she performed barefaced at the 2023 Oscars after she ditched her '80s-glam makeup for a more natural but still head-turning look.
