Lady Gaga is a musician known for her extravagant outfits and interesting lyrics. But she is also a very talented vocalist who can captivate a crowd with just her voice and a piano. One 2011 performance of "Marry the Night' on Alan Carr's talk show proves her astounding talent.

Lady Gaga appeared on the show "Alan Carr: Chatty Man" to perform "Marry the Night," from her second studio album "Born This Way." It is originally a highly produced electronic-inspired song with a very strong beat in the chorus.

But she stripped down the song for this special TV performance and she used only her vocals and an acoustic piano for a very different take on the song. The Lady Gaga that fans know and love was still recognizable with a huge neon pink bow in her hair, but even the large headpiece was a toned down look for the star.

Once she launched into the song she impressed everyone with the strength and tambour of her unique voice. With the vocals isolated and the instruments taken away, it felt like just Lady Gaga and the listener were the only two people in the world.
