Lady Gaga Attracts Attention In A Diamond Necklace That Was Last Worn By Audrey Hepburn In 1961

Lady Gaga definitely had an amazing night at the Oscars on February 24th. She not only won her first-ever Oscar for Best Original Song with "Shallow" from A Star Is Born and gave an incredible performance with her co-star Bradley Cooper, but she also wore an enormous diamond around her neck that made all heads turn!

Lady Gaga's fanbase has always been quite passionate and extremely supportive. But since the release of Bradley Cooper's movie A Star Is Born in which Gaga plays the lead role Ally, people seem to love her even more! At the Academy Awards, the movie was nominated for eight awards, Best Picture, Best Actor, and Best Actress, amongst others.

Unfortunately, A Star Is Born ended up only winning one of those awards. To Gaga's great surprise she was the one who received it for Best Original Song with “Shallow.”

Only minutes before Gaga was awarded her first-ever Oscar, she and Bradley Cooper performed “Shallow” live on stage. Their performance was quite intense and very emotional. They enchanted the whole audience with their chemistry and received standing ovations!

In her acceptance speech, Lady Gaga emphasized how important Bradley Cooper had been for her song: “Bradley, there is not a single person on the planet that could have sung this song with me than you” 

Gaga was also close to winning the Oscar for Best Actress, but Olivia Colman from The Favourite received that award in the end.

But apart from all the awards and performances, everybody was amazed by the enormous piece of jewelry around Lady Gaga’s neck. She wore a legendary, priceless diamond, its last wearer was none other than fashion icon Audrey Hepburn – which makes the piece of jewelry world famous!
