Labrador Pups Get Disciplined By Their Mother After They Start A Fight

Feb 02, 2020 by apost team

Do you realize that a dog mother is quite similar to a human one? This Labrador shows us that she knows how to deal with little ones who need some disciplining. As of January 27, 2020, there have already been more than 10 million views of their video.

Labradors are known to be naturally playful and have high energy levels with a need to burn off that extra energy with activity of some sort. Puppies especially fall into that category. All too often they get bored with normal “play-fighting,” where they just use their mouths to nudge each other, but teeth are not involved. Using teeth is biting, where they could hurt each other, which could lead to an actual dog fight and become dangerous.

If the dog momma notices that it could turn into what appears to be a real problem, that is when she will most likely step in and stop such activity. Her actions are well understood by her offspring, and while they might protest at first, she means business and will let them know they need to stop.

Growling is like a human mother giving naughty children “the look” to make them stop the mischief. Hopefully they will immediately stop the fighting. Snarling entails baring her teeth and emitting a sound with a serious tone to show that she’s not kidding and they better stop. Muzzling means placing her mouth over a puppy’s muzzle region or head, or placing a paw on the puppy and keeping him or her low on the ground until the puppy finally stops.

Have you personally seen a doggie mother doing this? If so, let us know the details and tell us if it really worked and how long it took to do so.
