Kristen Bell's charming personality accompanying her talented acting skills has made her one of Hollywood's prized gems. After graduating high school, Bell moved to New York City to pursue acting. She attended  Tisch School of the Arts, where she studied musical theatre. During her senior year of college, Bell left a couple of credits shy of graduating to focus on her new role as Becky Thatcher in the Broadway musical "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer."

After starring on Broadway, Bell starred in several series and shows before landing her big break in 2004. The rising star became a household name in 2004 when she landed the title role on the TV series "Veronica Mars." The series ran for four seasons, from 2004 to 2007. Through the course of the four seasons, Bell was nominated for several awards. In 2006, Bell won the Saturn Award for Best Actress on Television for her performance (according to IMDB). However, due to her stellar performance as Veronica Mars, many critics believe that she was snubbed for an Emmy.

The Golden Globe-nominated actress' universal talents speak for themselves. A couple of years after Veronica Mars ended, Bell portrayed the title character in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall." According to Screen Rant, Bell's role as Sarah Marshall is one of her top 10 most notable roles. Since her breakout movie, Bell has displayed her wide-ranging acting talents. Some of her most recent roles include Anna from Netflix's miniseries "The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window" and the voice of Princess Anna in "Frozen" and "Frozen II."

Accompanying her impressive acting career, the mother of two has recently added skincare founder to her resume.

Actress Kristen Bell fell in love with CBD products back in 2018. She was first introduced to plant-infused skincare products by her hairstylist. She recalled her first experience during an interview with Glamour, where her hairstylist massaged CBD oil into her shoulders.

"I loved it," she told the outlet.

Wanting to share her skincare experience with her fans, Bell reached out to CBD brand Lord Jones to partner and created a skincare line. Bell chose this brand because she was already a fan of their products. In a statement announcing the launch of their skincare line, Bell recalled her introduction to the brand back in 2018.

"I first discovered Lord Jones CBD products two years ago and have been using them ever since," Bell said in a statement. "I was skeptical at first, but was quickly blown away by the quality, integrity and consistency in all of the products. When I met Lord Jones founders Rob & Cindy, we aligned on a shared desire to make a CBD line that would be accessible to a wider audience at a lower price point while maintaining the same trusted quality as the Lord Jones brand."

Kristen Bell's goal is to make skincare accessible and affordable for all. She even shares her favorite product from her skincare line.

"The coconut oil CBD is my absolute favorite because it's so multipurpose, which was one of my goals," Kristen told Women's Health.

Along with sharing her favorite products from her line, Bell shared a couple of tips on maintaining healthy skin.

In an interview with Elle, Bell attributed her "youthful appearance" to always using sunscreen.

"I love the sun, but it is not my friend," Bell stated. "so applying sunscreen every morning is probably the most practical part of my beauty routine."

Although known for her flawless skin, Kristen Bell is adamant that skincare is self-care, and self-care starts from within. She explains this perspective to Popsugar when asked about her skincare routine.

"It's a whole lifestyle routine," Bell told the outlet. "I eat very well. It's not that I don't cheat, but I assess my protein intake and make sure I have enough omega fatty acids to retain moisture. And I eat a lot of colorful fruits and vegetables. I drink a ton of water — usually lemon water. I feel better when my body gets more alkaline."

For Bell, it's not only important what she puts in her body but also on her body. As a mother of two, Lincoln, 8, and Delta, 7, the "Frozen" star prefers simple and multitasking products.

"As far as beauty goes, I look at the ingredients of everything I put on my skin," Bell told Popsugar. "I like to be able to pronounce everything. I do research on where it comes from, because as a mom, I don't really have a ton of time. So I want everything to be simple."

Leading by example, the veteran actress incorporates products from her skincare line, Happy Dance, into her daily routine to normalize self-care for her children.

"It does not need to be a special event," Bell told Parents. "It should be a normal part of my routine so that my day doesn't get away from me and I don't feel like I'm stepping onto a roller coaster every morning and then at night I step off and go to sleep. So, I am normalizing that mommy takes 10 minutes to be by herself every day."
