Although dinosaurs are long gone and dragons are the stuff of fairytales, there is one pet that might satisfy your cravings for both creatures. It’s called a bearded dragon, and the pet has gained popularity throughout the years for being a reptile that is easily handled and tamed.

This bearded dragon’s name is Francois. He’s a typical bearded dragon in the way that he’s not afraid of anything, even spunky cats! Francois was enjoying himself in the bath and trying to have some alone time when the cat just kept interrupting his moments.

The cat, who is usually afraid of water and opposed to anything that involves them getting wet, was probably wondering why any creature would enjoy swimming and was trying to investigate to determine what was so interesting about the water. But Francois wasn’t having any of this, and wanted to enjoy his bath alone!

Although the bearded dragon and the cat could not communicate with each other verbally, Francois showed many signs to the cat that he did not want to be watched. His warning signals can be seen by the thrashing of his tail, and he even gives the cat a stern look towards the end of the video!

It’s clear that he wanted to have some peaceful time to soak.

In fact, bearded dragons are actually known for their attempts at communication. They are even able to nod their head, snap their tails back and forth, and even raise their front legs to communicate their needs. Males can also aggressively or quickly nod in order to showcase their point.

All of these signs can be seen in the video, and we’re sure the cat will be more cautious next time he wants to interrupt this bearded dragon’s bath time! Thankfully, bearded dragons can be docile pets that can be tamed to enjoy the company of other pets that are larger than them.

What do you think about Francois? Would you have a bearded dragon as a pet, or would you save the dragons for storytime instead? Either way, you can't deny that this bearded dragon swimming is precious enough to send to all your friends!
