One of the most difficult things about having a new pet is leaving them behind to go to work or school. It’s heartbreaking to think of a beloved cat or dog anxiously waiting by the door or else trapped in a crate, wondering why they have been abandoned. One woman in Thailand, who became an internet sensation in 2019, decided to eliminate that problem completely by bringing her dog to work with her.

That’s right, this street sweeper is so attached to her dog that she has no intentions of leaving him home alone. When she leaves the house, he goes right along with her, strapped to her back in a special pet carrier.

According to Inside Edition, this animal-loving woman is named Thitirat Keowa-ram, and she has been taking her black-and-white pooch to work with her every single day. See, Thitirat is a street sweeper, providing her with the perfect job that allows her dog to enjoy the great outdoors.

From the pictures, it appears that the dog truly does enjoy his time on the work-force. The carrier gives the puppy the chance to look at its surroundings, soaking up the scenes of the streets of Bangkok.

Thitirat went online to share more about her dog and the time that the couple spends together. She explained to Inside Edition that the dog was a gift from her boyfriend when she asked for a pet to keep her from being lonely. His one condition? That she brought the dog to work with her.

Thitirat was more than happy to oblige and has enjoyed the companionship of the dog ever since.

Since a dog on the street sweeping crew isn’t something that people are used to, it became an instant hit. It wasn’t long before people were taking pictures and posting them to the internet, launching Thitirat and her puppy into the public eye.

The unlikely pair immediately spread across the internet! The comments have been varied from individuals, with some mentioning that dogs can make work go faster, while others offered criticism that Thitirat would do better to tie the dog to her belt.
