When kids gather together in a local area, there is nothing that stops whatever is going on faster than the local police roaring in with sirens blazing. As a kid, even if you aren’t up to no good, your local police will stop you in your tracks. This was the case for a group of young kids that had gathered together at a local park for a friendly game of football.

The town has just had a major downpour of fresh snow and the kids were out of school and decided to make use of the afternoon by playing some touch football in the snowy park. However, they were in for a big surprise.

The kids stopped their football game immediately as they heard the sound of police sirens coming closer and closer to the park. They soon saw several of their town’s police vehicles driving down the road before coming to an abrupt halt right next to the park.

Lights and sirens were all on as the police officers stopped their vehicles and slowly began to exit the cars. The kids stood still and in silence as they watched the event unfold. To their surprise, the police officers headed directly towards them after grabbing their riot shields.

The police officers formed a tight formation and gathered behind the riot shields, announcing that there were some “hostiles” on the field. The officers slowly approach the kids in a tight formation and their motive soon becomes very apparent.

The police officers are there to fight…with snowballs! A hilarious snowball battle soon breaks out between the local kids and their police officers.

The entire scene is absolutely hilarious and ultimately adorable as the police officers soon are forced to retreat from the slew of incoming snowballs. One officer even feigns being struck and falls to the ground as his fellow officers quickly retreat to the safety of their vehicles.

The entire event wasn’t just a fun, spontaneous activity for the town. It surely made a mark on everyone who was involved and who heard about the event.

It showed the whole town of Duvall, Washington that while their police force is primarily there to serve and protect, they are happy to go above-and-beyond, even if it is just by taking some time out of their day to throw a few snowballs.
