Not knowing if you will have enough money for food and rent can be very difficult and is especially hard on children. Sometimes there are devastating circumstances, and kids are forced to help provide money when their parents are not able to do so. A group of siblings from South Africa were selling their well-loved teddy bears for cash to try and earn enough money to pay their rent and buy some food.

As they were walking down the street, a stranger called the children and their older siblings over to his car so he could get some directions. The older brother told him where to go while the younger sister asked politely if he could help them in return. The stranger, who was BI Phakathi, asked why they were carrying around the stuffed animals. The young girl explained that they were selling the teddy bears to earn money for rent. The older brother chimed in and said that their mother had cancer, and they were trying to help her by selling their belongings.

Phakathi is a well-known philanthropist on Instagram and Youtube that posts videos of himself helping others. His work has inspired many people to share their stories in the comments about how they have followed his lead. Phakathi seeks out people without housing or in dire need on the streets of South Africa and gives them what he can.

Phakathi gave these children all the money they needed for rent and even extra for food. The siblings were so thankful and couldn't stop giving Phakathi hugs and promising to call him. Keep reading to learn more about this touching story.

This man's selflessness brought immediate joy and relief to this group of siblings. In the video, you can see two of the older brothers hugging one another when they found out they had achieved their goal. The little girls began to giggle with excitement after Phakathi handed them a wad of cash and asked if they could count it.

Out of respect, the children called Phakathi "Uncle." However, he never gave them his name or phone number. He only promised to visit the children again. The reason for this is because Phakathi stays anonymous in all of his videos and never shows his face to the camera.

The video has been viewed on Youtube over 437,000 times and has nearly 3,000 comments from viewers thanking Phakathi for helping these children. One commenter wrote, "The relief on these kids' faces makes you realize how BI has just saved their whole world from collapsing. They were all sticking together and knew what was more important for them - rent. Thanks dude, please go visit them."

Another person said, "The smile on the face of both cute baby girls just made my day. Spreading happiness, helping hands and love is the true success in life. Having a positive impact on someone's life is the biggest achievement in life."

Others felt the children were incredibly humble while asking for help. A different user wrote, "The humility of these kids is outstanding! A rare and precious trait of innocence and humbleness. God bless these people and the man helping them."
