Kid Rock Proudly Stands Up For Nation's Military In Patriotic Tribute

Outspoken singer Kid Rock is well known for many things - his hard-rocking music, his fiery political beliefs and his steadfast support of the men and women of the armed forces.

Throughout his career, he has given performances to raise the spirits of troops around the world and been vocal in his backing of military causes. 

His unwavering support of and loyalty to the military even resulted in the non-profit group Operation Troop Aid giving him the Patriot Award in 2014. Kid Rock is once again showing his support for the military in a new promotional video for the National Guard featuring the stirring song "Warrior."

The video commemorates the sacrifices of citizen-soldiers serving in the National Guard and features scenes of troops serving around the world. The video also features footage of Dale Earnhardt Jr. driving a race car and narrowly avoiding danger on the track.

There are numerous scenes showing the many ways the National Guard helps civilians including troops assisting a family fleeing a forest fire and a soldier helping a Middle Eastern boy whose ball rolls in front of a tank.

The driving drums and guitar accompany lyrics like:

“And they call me warrior. They call me loyalty. And they call me ready to go, believe and help whenever you need me to be. I’m an American warrior.”
