Kevan Chandler is a wheelchair user who suffers from muscular spinal atrophy. Throughout his life, Kevan felt bound by the restrictions placed on him because he uses a wheelchair. Since there was nothing he could do about his illness, he worked with his friends on a way to redefine "accessibility."

Kevan was determined to travel and see the world like so many of his peers. Financial problems were not his concern, however. Kevan knew that many of the places he wished to visit were not 100% wheelchair friendly. That was when he and his friends were struck by an insane but ingenious idea.

He and his friends managed to adapt a hiking backpack to fit Kevan. As you will see in the video, they ensured that Kevan was still comfortable as well as the lucky friend who was tasked with carrying him that day.

Kevan has now managed to travel around numerous cities in Europe and already has other trips in the pipeline! We think he's an inspiration to all :)
