Kelly Osbourne Looks Like An ‘Extreme Caricature’ Because Of Her ‘Ghoulish’ Appearance At BRIT Awards

Kelly Osbourne has grown up in the public eye, so scrutiny is nothing new. But her appearance at the 2026 BRIT Awards has once again placed her at the center of intense online commentary.
On Feb. 28, 2026, the singer, born in 1984, stepped onto the red carpet at Manchester’s Co-op Live alongside her mother, Sharon Osbourne. Dressed in a floor-length black velvet gown with a corseted bodice and spaghetti straps, she layered the look with a dramatic feathered bolero jacket. Around her neck, she wore stacked necklaces, including a cross and an “O,” a subtle tribute to her late father, Ozzy Osbourne.
She also debuted a shorter, golden-toned blonde bob styled by Jay Pinder. On the carpet, she was joined by Ozzy’s former bandmates Zakk Wylde, Tommy Clufetos, Adam Wakeman and Robert Trujillo, as well as singer Robbie Williams, who were present for the tribute performance.
But instead of focusing on the music, the tribute or the fashion, much of social media turned its attention to her appearance. Photos from the event quickly circulated online, prompting speculation about her noticeably slimmer frame and sharply sculpted facial features. Comments ranged from confusion to harsh criticism. “I can’t even recognize her anymore,” one person wrote. Another added in disbelief, “this is an edit right-.”
“She looks like an extreme caricature of someone with buccal fat removal,” another commenter said, while someone else warned, “Do not ever have your buccal fat removed. You need it when you get older.” As the conversation intensified, it became less about style and more about assumptions surrounding her appearance.

Speculation about Osbourne's weight loss medications and cosmetic procedures quickly followed. “If one decides to take Ozempic then they must also be aware of its irreversible damage,” one commenter wrote. Another added:
“The Ozempic-look is ghoulish. Not attractive. Tell Demi Moore also. Ew”
Osbourne has addressed similar rumors before. Although she previously confirmed using a GLP-1 medication in early 2024, she has denied that her more recent weight loss is tied to injections. “I know everybody thinks I took Ozempic. I did not take Ozempic. I don’t know where that came from. My mum took O*empic,” she told Extra in 2025. She explained that she lost weight after cutting out sugar and carbohydrates following a diagnosis of gestational diabetes.
She also spoke about cosmetic speculation, admitting to Botox injections to treat TMJ. “I had a really bad TMJ…It kinda made my jaw look skinnier.” She added that weight loss reduced fatty deposits in her cheeks. “I found out it’s called buccal fat. It changed everything on my face!” In past months, the commentary has taken a toll. On Feb. 23, 2026, she wrote:
“Literally can’t believe how disgusting some human beings truly are! No one deserves this sort of ab*se!”
In December 2025, she was even more candid: “My dad just d*ed, and I’m doing the best I can. The only thing I have to live for right now is my family.” She continued, “I am ill right now. My life is completely flipped upside down… The fact that I’m getting out of bed and facing my life — trying — should be more than enough.” Sharon later defended her daughter publicly, saying, “She’s not happy, she’s lost her daddy, she can’t eat right now.”
