Kelly Clarkson Kicks Off Season 16 Of ‘The Voice’ With Swanky New Haircut

NBC's show "The Voice" saw a plethora of new things on Monday night including Kelly Clarkson's new haircut. The talent show is now debuting its 18th season and a mini-makeover for Clarkson was one of the prominent changes.

Along with new coach Nick Jonas, "The Voice" promised a lot of changes for season 18. One of these included Kelly Clarkson's new short hair. On the show, Clarkson wore a sparkly black pantsuit with silver hoop earrings to accent her new spunky hair.

Kelly's new hair was visible in a teaser that NBC did to promote the new season. Many fans thought that this was Kelly's best look yet, as it is much different from her previous long-haired look. 

As the only female judge alongside fellow judges, Black Shelton, John Legend, and Joe Jonas, Kelly received a Valentine's Day surprise. Behind her chair was a massive pot with many red roses. After reading the accompanying card, Clarkson realized that they were a Valentine's gift from her three fellow judges. 

On the debut episode of the 18th season of the Voice, Kelly also received a surprise from a contestant, as they sang her hit "Miss Independent." However, Joe Jonas thwarted Kelly's efforts by beating her from hitting the buzzer first. Unfortunately, Kelly was not able to get the contestant, Arei Moon, on her team.
