Kelly Clarkson Covers — And Totally Nails — Madonna's 'Like A Prayer'

This week, Kelly Clarkson gave Madonna a run for her money. 

The American-Idol winner wowed fans once again with another one of her Kellyokes  – this time covering Madonna’s legendary hit, Like A Prayer, from her ranch in Montana.

Clarkson covered the song flawlessly while at the same time adding her signature soulful spin to it. As always, Clarkson hit every single note without fail.

Her rendition of Like a Prayer was accompanied by a music video of her own, which featured dramatic effects and greyscale scenes that were reminiscent of the original.

Naturally, her Youtube followers were ecstatic with the performance.

"Kelly Clarkson’s voice is a medicine this world so desperately needs right now," one user commented.

"Doesn't surprise me anymore," commented another. "She can sing anything!!!! Best vocalist in the last 2 decades!!!!"

Even during the pandemic, Kelly Clarkson has managed to stay connected to her fans via social media. The original American Idol winner has continued her show, The Kelly Clarkson Show through YouTube, and has been regularly sharing performances of hers on social media, even from her bathroom.

In late March, Clarkson paid tribute to the late Kenny Rogers by performing his song, Sweet Music Man, from her bathroom. She posted the performance on Instagram.
