The Artist of the Decade Award is an accolade presented only to the best. As usual, only a few singers remain unmatched in the country music entertainment. The accolade is presented to artists who stay relevant in the country music field for a decade. ACM is behind this prestigious award that gives talented artists the motivation to be consistent.
The award has been given to the best voices in country music. Artists such as Alabama, George Strait, Marty Robbins, Loretta Lynn, and Garth Brooks are among the famous recipients of the ACM accolade.
The award comes once in every decade, and 2019 is the year we all get to see a new name pop in the list of elites. Jason Aldean was recently named the artist of the decade by ACM.

Why was Jason appointed for the prestigious ACM award? Well, that was an easy pick for a great singer with twenty-two career hits to his name and a remarkable twenty-nine ACM award nominations over the years. Jason has also bagged 13 ACM awards in his career life, which speak for his talent.
The Artist of The Decade award close monitored the performance of various artists from 2010 to 2019. Jason has bagged three of the thirteen ACM awards under the Entertainer of The Year Title from 2016 to 2018 for three years in a raw. And 2019 was no exception for the remarkable voice holder.
In the 2019 list of the Entertainer of the Year, graced Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Luke Bryan, Chris Stapleton, and Kenny Chesney. The five would be competing for the top title for the year 2019 in country music.
This year’s ceremony was a bit different from the previous years where the winners were celebrated in a separate ceremony. This year, Jason was part of the active crew where he performed with celebrated songstress Kelly Clarkson alongside other friends.
The two songbirds have a song together, “Don’t You Wanna Stay” that was a significant hit in 2010. The song not only topped as the best country music hits but also came 31st on the Billboard Hot 100 and later grabbed two ACM awards.
Seeing Jason and Kelly together on the stage after years was a scene we have been looking forward. The song could be almost ten years old, but it hits the soul just right.
