Keith Urban Puts All His Heart In A Song Co-Written By Ed Sheeran

Keith Urban has been hinting to fans for quite some time he had big news to reveal. He made it obvious that a new song was among those plans. The song, 'Parallel Lines' has since been released.

Fans of Urban got a treat in Nashville recently when he debuted the song in a surprise appearance. During the show in January 2018, Urban also informed the audience he would soon embark on a tour later the same year entitled Graffiti U World Tour. The surprises kept coming and Urban also shared plans for a new album release entitled Graffiti U. The album release was scheduled for April 2018 and the song Parallel Lines was the lead single.

Parallel Lines was originally released as a single only in Australia but the song is available across the globe. Reports explain songwriter Ed Sheeran is one of many songwriters who contributed to the song. The list of country music singers Sheeran has worked with in the past reads like a who's who list and includes Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, and Taylor Swift.

Urban says he loved the song from the moment he first heard it. Urban says he grabbed his guitar, began to play the song, and new he was experiencing something rare. Urban says the song was perfect for him and he could not wait for the moment he could record it in the studio. 

Parallel Lines is a classic love song. In the song, Urban expresses the desire to build a relationship with a new partner. He sings of closing any gaps that exist between them and declares his readiness to give their young love all he has to give.

Urban has been known to experiment with his style in the past. This was especially evident in a track called 'Blue Ain't Your Color' which was included on his last release 'Ripcord.' The song had a jazz and blues influence that urban had not used in the past.

Parallel Lines has a blues feel to it also but is much more soulful. It is fun to listen as urban switches up his style in songs. After you listen to Parallel Lines, you will surely agree.
