Come up with a word for your child to secretly tell you they are in trouble. When your child is away from home you never know what may be happening. Sure, you can call your child whenever you'd like, but how do you know your child isn't being told what to say? That's why creating a password is important. Your child can say this one word, and you will know they are in trouble right away. You can also use this password to have a friend pick up your child. Your kid can simply ask them for a password, and if they do not provide the right word your child knows not to go with them.
