Keanu Reeves Struggles To Hold Precious Pups Together & Fans Can’t Handle The Cuteness

Actor Keanu Reeves is one of Hollywood’s finest men – and he’s also one of the industry’s nicest. On top of having a reputation for being so kind, Reeves is also a bonafide action star whose filmography speaks for itself. Some of his most well-known works include the “John Wick” and “The Matrix” franchises, as well as plenty of films in a variety of genres, such as romantic comedies, dramas and thrillers.

There are plenty of examples out there that show just why Reeves is considered such a nice guy. From the time that he gave up his seat on the subway for a stranger and the various moments he’s shared with homeless people on the streets, listening to their stories, to the many donations he’s given to charities, Reeves is the epitome of a stand-up citizen and all-round good guy. Reeves has also taken the time to show his cast and crew members on the films he’s worked on just how much they mean to him and how much he respects them, and the time they’ve put in.

Reeves has been through plenty of hardships in his life but has continuously bounced back and come back stronger than ever. He also has always left a great impression on those he interacts with, whether it be his longtime friendships with Sandra Bullock and Drew Barrymore or his beautiful romantic relationship with his current partner Alexandra Grant.

Reeves continues to maintain a great reputation in Hollywood and still goes out of his way to make the day of any fan, friend or stranger that comes his way. Endearing himself to the public even more, Reeves appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” and shared the stage with some adorable extras.

Reeves went on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on March 16, 2023, to promote the release of the fourth installment of the John Wick series, “John Wick: Chapter 4.” During his appearance, host Fallon touched on how much the public loved the “Speed” star. He said:

“You have a great reputation, by the way, in Hollywood, of being a very nice guy,” Fallon said after recounting the last time they saw each other at a restaurant. The host recalled that during dinner, Fallon had sent over a single olive to Reeves’ table. Reeves responded by getting the whole restaurant to sing “Happy Birthday” to Fallon – despite it not being his birthday!

“You had the whole restaurant come over and sing me ‘Happy Birthday,’” Fallon recalled. “And it was not my birthday… I blew out the candle.”

Fallon then brought out a picture of Reeves taken at a wedding outside of London. “You crashed someone’s wedding in London,” Fallon started before Reeves cut him off with, “I didn’t crash their wedding.” Reeves explained how he was staying at the same hotel where a British couple was getting hitched. When they noticed Reeves at the hotel, they invited him to the party and asked if he wanted to take some pictures with the guests, which the star humbly did. 

“One of these things does not belong, and it was me,” he said as he pointed to the picture. “It was really lovely, it was cool,” he added as Fallon quipped, “It’s really cool that you do this.”

When talking about the fourth “John Wick” movie, Reeves was quick to praise its director, Chad Stahelski. He said Stahelski was “very inventive. He really wants to create different kinds of environments or ways in the storytelling for the action.”

After the interview, Reeves joined Fallon to play “Pup Quiz,” in which they both had to answer animal-related questions. If they answered correctly, they would be rewarded with puppies. If they answered incorrectly, their opponent would get the puppies instead. This prompted Fallon to exclaim, “I’m not taking a puppy away from John Wick!” 

As the game progressed, Reeves was rewarded with more and more puppies for every correct answer, leaving him swamped in his chair by a pack of adorable baby golden retrievers. The sight of Reeves struggling to keep all the pups in tow was immensely endearing. “It’s puppy love!” Reeves exclaimed before one little pup managed to sneak off to Fallon. Reeves called out, “That’s my puppy Fallon!” 

As more and more puppies made their way to Reeves’ lap, the star pronounced:

“Who’s the puppy king? I’m the puppy king!”

Fans were beside themselves at the heart-melting clip. 

“The two purest things in the world – puppies and Keanu Reeves,” one viewer wrote, while another said, “Cuteness on top of cuteness. Keanu and puppies might just be too much cuteness for my eyes to endure!”

Many also noted that the star was beloved not only by people but all walks of life as well. “More proof of just how amazing and pure Keanu is. Those puppies loved him,” a viewer said.

Another wrote: “Keanu is kind and genuine – see how the puppies mauled him with kisses and did not wander off.”

“‘Do the puppies know each other?’ Omg, he is so nice. He is too good to be true. This is the best. Keanu and puppies. ❤❤” another comment read.
