Actor Keanu Reeves, 57, is one of Hollywood's nicest guys. But on top of having a reputation for being kind, he's also a bonafide action star whose filmography includes "The Matrix" and "John Wick" franchises, among other notable movies. The Canadian actor is also the star of many popular memes, making him not just one of Hollywood's most beloved actors but also an icon of the internet.

There's plenty of examples out there that show just why Reeves is considered such a nice guy. From the time that he gave up his seat on the subway for a stranger and the various moments he's shared with homeless people on the streets, listening to their stories, to the many donations he's given to charities, Reeves is the epitome of a stand-up citizen.

This week he proved exactly why he's earned this reputation and why everybody loves him so much when he surprised his stunt team from the latest "John Wick" movie with a brand new Rolex watch each. After filming wrapped in Paris, the actor gifted the four members of his stunt team — Bruce Concepcion, Jeremy Marinas, Dave Camarillo and Li Qiang — a Rolex 2020 Submariner watch each, with a personalized message engraved on the back. He also got one for himself that matched the others, making the item more than just a gift but a shared memento from their time spent together on the film set.

One of the stuntmen posted photos of the special moment when they all received their gifts to Instagram including a photo of all five of their arms wearing the watches.

Considering the action sequences of Reeves' films are part of what makes them so loved, it's no wonder that the actor knows his stunt team plays a major role in his movies' successes. To show his appreciation for their work, and no doubt to honor the bond he and his team must have created while working together, Reeves gave his stunt team a gift each. For Concepcion, Marinas, Camarillo and Qiang, Reeves gifted them each a brand new Rolex 2020 Submariner last week as filming on "John Wick: Chapter 4" wrapped up in Paris.

Soon after, Concepcion posted his gratitude to Reeves on social media. In an Instagram story, he shared a photo of him wearing the watch with the Rolex box visible in the background with the caption:

"got that new new thank you bro <3 KR"

He also posted a photo of the entire stunt team and Reeves wearing the Rolexes on their wrists. Meanwhile, Marinas, another stunt team member, posted his own photo which showed the personalized message that his watch has engraved on the back. As reported by TMZ, it reads:

"The John Wick Five

Jeremy Thank You Keanu

JW4 2021"

In the same article, a candid photo that was taken outside of the restaurant where the group met shows Reeves and one of the other men sharing a laugh as they look excitedly at the watches on their wrists. It's an incredibly heartfelt and sincere gift and shows just why Reeves is so well-loved and appreciated in the entertainment industry and around the world.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, this isn't the first time Reeves has treated his film crew members with special gifts. After one of "The Matrix" movies was finished filming, he treated his 12-person strong stunt team to a Harley-Davidson bike each, according to an interview with "John Wick" director Chad Stahelski. What's more, when another of the franchise's sequels wrapped, every member of the film crew, which totaled around 800 people, walked away with a bottle of champagne courtesy of Reeves.

He also shared some of his own profits from "The Matrix" with the special effects and costume design teams. An unnamed film executive told the Wall Street Journal, as reported by ABC News:

"He felt that they were the ones who made the movie and that they should participate."

Yet another example of Reeves' humanity comes from a sweet story that a man shared on Twitter in 2019. User James Dator posted about an incident when he worked at a movie theater at the age of 16. Reeves came in one day to watch "From Hell" starring Johnny Depp and after Dator awkwardly offered him his staff discount in a bid to get his autograph, Reeves politely declined. But soon after he returned, having bought an ice cream cone only to get the receipt which he signed and handed to the teen, realizing that was probably what he was after in the first place.

There's no shortage of heartwarming stories about Reeves because he really does appear to live his life while being thoughtful of everyone else around him and that is truly inspirational.
