Katy Perry And Orlando Bloom Are Preparing For A Fall Wedding

Singer, Katy Perry, and actor Orlando Bloom are getting ready to ring the wedding bells. After previously getting engaged in February, the couple has begun planning their ceremony and it’s rumored Taylor Swift could be on the guest list.

Bloom and Perry first began dating back in 2016, after meeting at an after party for the Golden Globes US Weekly reports. Although their relationship has been on and off again, it was officially confirmed when Katy posted a picture of her engagement ring on Instagram the day after valentines day.

A source told Entertainment Tonight about the couple planning their wedding saying, "They are both so busy that they now set aside downtime to plan all the personal details, they are both on the same page about making their wedding a little different. They want it to be modern and exciting." According to the source, Perry is thinking about not wearing white, "This is Katy and Orlando’s day and they are going to create a special moment that best represents their style, which means a beautiful celebration of their love with the people they most care about." Apart from planning their wedding style Perry and Bloom are also composing the guest list. The source added they are talking about including Taylor Swift on the guest list.

It came as a surprise when Katy Perry appeared in Taylor Swift’s new music video “You Need To Calm Down” earlier this month. The pair have had a very open and public feud for the last few years. In an interview with BBC, Swift explained how Perry and her recently made-up at a party, "When we saw each other, it was just very clear to both of us that everything was different, that we had grown up, and that we had grown past allowing ourselves to be pitted against each other, and it just was very, very clear that we remembered how much we had in common."

So maybe we will see Swift supporting Perry on her big day, but for now, Bloom and Perry are “ready to start their new life together,” the source adds, "Their plan is to have a close friends and family wedding in the fall, but are keeping many of their plans private."
