Every year the Commonwealth Day Service is held at Westminster Abbey in London. The annual holiday commemorates the 54 countries across the Commonwealth with global celebrations. Accompanied by Prince William, the Duchess of Cambridge attended the 2020 service yesterday, wearing an elegant deep red coat with a matching ruby English-style fascinator.

The stylish hat Kate wore is a typical English hat that many royals don. Kate paired the jewel-hued hat with a tailored coat, deep wine heels, and a velvet burgundy clutch. William complimented her as his tie matched the shade of red of her ensemble.

As per tradition, the Queen was there with the rest of her family. This service will be historic because Harry and Meghan also attended in what will be one of their final royal engagements after stepping down as senior royals earlier this year. This could be one of the last times we see the full royal family together in this capacity.

Kate and William have had a busy time lately as they just returned from their first official visit to Ireland where they were building diplomatic relationships, reports Town & Country. During their trip, the couple visited Dublin, County Meath, County Kildare, and Galway.

It is great to see Kate reusing her favorite pieces of clothing, even when attending an important event such as Commonwealth Day. Share this with anyone who would enjoy this ethical approach to fashion.
