Place2Be, which works to improve mental health in UK schools through counselling, has worked with Middleton to raise awareness since 2013 according to Town and Country.

"Place2Be was one of the first charities I became the patron of,” Middleton said in her speech at the event. “I knew it was special then, but having spent many years since, learning about the importance of childhood development, I see even more the value in the work that you do and I am hugely grateful for all that you have taught me over the past seven years.”

Middleton, who herself is a mother of three, greeted and posed for photos with the many school children who also attended the 25th anniversary event.

Two school choirs also performed. According to The Daily Mail, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra teamed up with students from New North Academy and Salusbury School to write an original piece for the event.

In the past, Middleton, Prince William, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle have all worked together to raise awareness around mental illness, according to Town and Country.

The two royal couples reunited before the gala for what ET Online is reporting as Prince Harry and Markle’s last scheduled appearance as senior members of the royal family. In any case, it was a long day of engagements for the royal family, especially for Middleton. But dressed to the nines in a bespoke Jenny Packham gown and Romy 100 Jimmy Choo stilettos, her second outfit of the day, it seemed like Middleton was up for the occasion.
