Kate Middleton and Prince William's first public appearance in 2020 was a visit to Bradford where they first stopped by at MyLahore restaurant as well as Bradford City Hall before ending their day at a Khidmat Centre.
According to their website, Khidmat centers provide assistance to vulnerable members of their community, making "enabling grassroots communities to maximize their potential" their mission.
During their visit, the Royal couple joined a session held by Better Start Bradford, an organization that offers support to pregnant women as well as families with children that are younger than four. Later the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spoke to senior citizens who attended the "Older Yet Wiser" course, which supports grandparents who take care of their grandchildren.

Prince William and Kate got to meet Ian and Jo Broadbent, an elderly couple that raises their 6-year-old granddaughter and the Royal couple opened up about their offsprings.
Jo Broadbent talked to HELLO Magazine and revealed: "Kate obviously has a great interest in early years development, she’s quite knowledgeable about it. I asked how her children were. Kate said Louis had started to tell her, 'Mummy, I'm balancing,' and she said it was really nice to see him turning into a little boy from being a baby. She's obviously very proud of her children."
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and their youngest, Prince Louis who is about to turn two in April. For Kate, it's more than important that her children are able to enjoy their childhood even though they are members of the Royal Family.
A source told People Magazine:
“She wants to emulate her upbringing, living in the countryside with a close-knit family. She desperately wants that normality for her own kids.”
