Kate Middleton Explains Why Prince George Is Jealous Of Princess Charlotte's Schedule During Lockdown

Like many others across the globe the British royal family are isolating at home. Kate Middleton and Prince William are currently residing at their Norfolk country house, Anmer Hall, during the lockdown and their eldest child, Prince George is jealous of his younger sister, Priness Charlotte, because he would rather do the schoolwork she is being set, than the work he is being given.

On Thursday, the 38-year-old Duchess of Cambridge gave an interview for the first time ever on popular TV show "This Morning," via video link. She spoke openly about how her family are coping at home during the lockdown.

TV presenter Holly Willoughby asked Kate how they were finding the homeschooling situation, with three young children all at home together, reports the Evening Standard. Kate was very honest with her answer, and it is definitely one that many of us can relate to.

Kate revealed that Prince George was quite disappointed that his little sister, Princess Charlotte, has much more exciting school work to be getting on with, whilst he is forced to do actual studying.

Kate said, "George gets very upset because he wants to do Charlotte's projects. Because making things like spider sandwiches is far cooler than doing literacy work!"

We can see his point, it must be hard having to do real learning while your siblings get to focus on more fun things! It's good to see the Cambridge's demonstrating they have a very normal home life despite being royal!

The royal couple have had quite a few lockdown birthdays. The first being Prince Louis' 2nd birthday on April 23rd, and then his big sister Princess Charlotte celebrated her 5th birthday on May 2nd. Kate, who usually takes her own photos of her family, released some new photos for the occasions. One image of Prince Louis' which had the caption: "Instagram vs Reality" was a huge hit online.
