Kaley Cuoco Glows On Red Carpet In First Appearance Since Announcing Second Pregnancy

Kaley Cuoco has always been honest about living life on her own terms, and that includes how she and her fiancé, Tom Pelphrey, have chosen to build their family. Long before announcing they were expecting another baby, the actress admitted that marriage wasn’t necessarily the next item on their list.

Speaking with PEOPLE in 2024, Cuoco laughed when asked whether their dogs would be part of a future wedding ceremony.“We haven’t started planning anything yet,” she said before revealing that another baby might arrive first.

“Maybe another kid will have to come first.” She then summed up their approach in one memorable sentence. “We’re gonna go way out of order. That’s our plan.” As it turns out, that’s exactly what’s happened.

Earlier this month, Cuoco announced that she and Pelphrey were expecting their second child together, another baby girl. The couple shared the news on Instagram with a collection of family photos featuring their 3-year-old daughter, Matilda.

One photo showed the family smiling around a rainbow sprinkle-covered cake that read, “It’s a….” A slice had been removed to reveal pink cake inside, confirming they were welcoming another daughter.

Cuoco also included mirror selfies showing her growing baby bump, as well as other candid moments from her pregnancy journey.

“Completing our little family, what a dream come true!” she wrote. “This second time around journey has been a little windier in many ways, but wow we are so grateful for this moment!!”

She ended the post with her signature humor, joking that Pelphrey was officially “girl dad for life” before pointing out that the final photo featured little Matilda happily giving the camera the middle finger.

As the family prepared to welcome another daughter, Cuoco continued sharing glimpses of everyday life with fans, including another milestone that made this chapter feel even more meaningful.

Just days before making her latest public appearance, the actress celebrated Matilda’s third birthday with an Ariel-themed party, posting a series of joyful family photos on Instagram. Looking back on the day, Cuoco admitted she could hardly believe how quickly her little girl was growing up.

“Matilda, you are the most special babe on the planet! Your smile and laugh brings joy to every person that surrounds you, we are so lucky to be your parents!” she wrote.

With another little girl on the way, the celebration served as a reminder that Matilda was about to step into an exciting new role as a big sister.

Cuoco also remained candid about her pregnancy, telling fans that the journey has been “a little windier” than the first while expressing gratitude for every moment along the way. Pelphrey, meanwhile, has fully embraced what Cuoco jokingly called his future as “girl dad for life.”

Until this week, however, fans had only followed those milestones through social media.

That changed when Cuoco stepped onto the red carpet for the Los Angeles premiere of HBO’s “Life, Larry and The Pursuit of Unhappiness.”

Dressed in a flowing black maxi dress with matching heels and layered gold necklaces, the actress smiled as she gently cradled her growing baby bump while posing for photographers. It marked another joyful milestone for the growing family.
