Do you ever just have one of those days where you simply can’t motivate yourself to go to work? Typically you eventually pull yourself out of bed and trudge into work. Yet, sometimes you just can’t go to work until you get that one thing you’re craving, usually more sleep.

That’s how Jango Fett felt early one morning. However, unlike most employees, Jango Fett isn’t your typical 9-5 office worker. Jango is a K9 police dog and he refused to go to work one day until he got a belly rub from his owners. Talk about a stubborn doggie!

Cassie Costin is the wife of Officer Ryan Costin whose partner is a K9 police dog, Jango according to CBS Baltimore. The Maryland resident recently shared the hilarious video of the K9 absolutely refusing to go into work without a belly rub from his partner, Officer Ryan.

Cassie said to the news station that her husband had just left for work when she got a text that Jango would not get up from the yard.

Cassie looked out the window to see her husband desperately trying to get the dog into the car. She reached for her phone and filmed the hilarious scene.

Cassie said on social media that she wanted people to know that when they are having a rough morning or simply feeling sluggish and don’t want to get out of bed to go to work, they’ll have to see how bad Jango didn’t want to go to work and how he just needed his belly rub.

The Anne Arundel County Sheriff’s Office where Jango and Ryan work shared the video saying, "A beautiful Spring day makes the best Deputies want to play hooky!! Yes we all love working at the Sheriff’s Office, but just like our human Deputies, when spring fever hits even our awesome K-9’s just want to go to the park and lie in the cool grass and maybe play a little catch….or um fetch!!”

However, in the video, the pup simply wouldn’t get off his back until he received the precious belly rub he wanted so badly from his partner. Her husband eventually gave in and gave the K9 the belly rub he wanted.
