It is not often that you see a young child musician take a classic song and make it their own.

But that is exactly what happened when a girl named Anna took the song "Over the Rainbow" and put her own spin on it during a spellbinding performance on the show "The Voice Kids." Everyone can agree that it is easy to show your musical chops in front of a small group of friends or at a karaoke bar.

It is another thing entirely to go on stage in front of an audience of millions and sing your heart out at such a young age.

Anna showed off both her amazing musical talent and her unwavering confidence when she stepped out into the lights and let loose with the melodic tune. The song is over 80 years old, first written in 1939 by Yip Harburg and Harold Arlen.

It was made famous when Judy Garland belted it out in the well-loved movie, "The Wizard of Oz." The stunning song had a resurgence in 1993 when Hawaiian musician Israel Kamakawiwole took it and made it his own with an island twist.

It can be difficult to take a song that nearly everyone knows by heart and make it special enough to give it another listen. But sweet little Anna did just that. The determined budding musician spent weeks tweaking the song and making sure she would get it just perfect for her debut on "The Voice Kids."

Although she was nervous that the judges would not like her rendition of the song, she did not let nerves get to her as she took the stage. It was clear to everyone in the audience that Anna would be a star.

Take a look at this incredible girl and see for yourself why everyone has fallen in love with her voice. And then once you are finished, make sure that all of your friends and family are introduced to this latest version of the classic American song.
