The 14th season of "America's Got Talent" has just wrapped up, with Kodi Lee - a blind, 22-year-old singer with autism - having won the top prize. When his name was announced, the judges and many in the audience started crying out of sheer happiness.
During the auditions, Kodi first stunned audiences as he quietly walked on stage with his mother, Tina, by his side. Jaws dropped as he started signing Donny Hathaway's "A Song for You." His rendition of this tune earned him a Golden Buzzer from Gabrielle Union, sending him straight into the main part of the competition.
Over the past few episodes, he's continued to wow the audience and judges with Simon and Garfunkel's "Bridge Over Troubled Water" and Calum Scott's "You Are The Reason."

During the finals, he beat out a strong group of competitors. The Detroit Youth Choir, Ryan Niemiller, Voices of Service, V. Unbeatable, and Emanne Beasha all had a chance of winning, but Kodi won over the nation and got the most votes.
Kodi's story just makes you feel good. Born in Tooele, Utah, he now lives in Lake Elsinore and sings and plays piano every day. A true musical genius, he's learned what he knows in his own way, despite not having the same abilities that you have in terms of reading, writing, and going about daily activities.
