Cheryl Ladd has been making waves in the entertainment industry for the past 50 years, with her popularity stemming from her time as an accomplished actress, singer and author. Her claim to fame came from her incomparable role as Kris Munroe on the television series “Charlie’s Angels,” which is still heavily beloved by fans to this day. Cheryl’s career quickly took off following her time on the series, allowing her to further develop her skills and showcase her talents in other fields in the industry. At 70 years old, Cheryl is still breathtakingly gorgeous.

Born on July 12, 1951, Cheryl grew up in South Dakota before traveling across the Midwest of the United States following her high school graduation to showcase her musical abilities and outstanding singing voice. She eventually settled in the city of Los Angeles, California, in 1970, ready to take her career to the next level. Finding jobs as a singer and as an actress, and jobs where she was able to use both talents, Cheryl easily skyrocketed to fame.

One of Ladd’s first roles was singing as Melody in “Josie and the Pussycats,” an animated Hanna-Barbera series. Her talent was undeniable, but Cheryl decided to audition for other roles that didn’t involve singing. In 1977, she was cast as Kris Munroe in “Charlie’s Angels,” replacing actress Farrah Fawcett. This move catapulted Cheryl to new heights within the entertainment industry. While other angels were replaced as the show continued, Cheryl held onto her role until the show was eventually canceled in June 1981. To this day, the show continues to have a great fan following.

During an interview with Access Hollywood Live in April 2017, Cheryl reflected on her time in “Charlie’s Angels.” She talked about how much fun she had with her fellow castmates and the crew, as well as how important the overall message of the show was for their viewers. The television series focused on powerful women. “They were powerful together, and that was a really good message,” Cheryl said. “I still get letters from women,” she said.

Cheryl explained how women shared what they were able to accomplish because she and her co-stars worked to break through the past barriers society had previously set. “I think what’s happening is there are so many movies and television shows now that are getting an audience, that I think they’re just figuring out how big the audience is for this kind of female work and relationship,” Cheryl said about the ever-changing movie industry, which has more recently been driven by plenty of accomplished women.

He followed in the footsteps of his famous father, Alan Ladd, who was also an actor and producer. Prior to their divorce in 1980, Cheryl and her husband had one daughter together named Jordan, who was born on Jan. 14, 1975.

Since the time she was 2 years old, Jordan appeared on television. At first, she appeared in a few commercials before moving to work on made-for-TV movies with Cheryl in films such as “The Girl Who Came Between Them” in 1990 and “Broken Promises: Taking Emily Back” in 1993. She made guest appearances on shows such as “Saved by the Bell: The New Class” and “Embrace of the Vampire,” before finally landing her first high-profile role in the comedy “Never Been Kissed” in 1999. The film was a hit and helped launch Jordan into sheer stardom. Shortly after, she ventured into the horror genre and easily became known as a scream queen.

Joining the cast of Eli Roth’s horror film “Cabin Fever” in 2002, Jordan was a natural in the genre and continued to find more work as the years progressed, much to fans and critics’ approval. Some of Jordan's most accomplished roles in the genre also include “Club Dread” in 2004, “Death Proof” in 2007 and “Grace” in 2009. According to IMDB, Jordan is set to star in the upcoming film “Letters from Iceland,” which is still in its pre-production stage.
