Bon Jovi’s parents were both Marines so he knew what it meant to dedicate entire lives to service. He wanted to give back to the men and women who sacrificed so much, and that’s where this facility came in. It was a project ten years in the making and now it is able to house 77 veterans and give them a place to call home.

The “Livin’ on a Prayer” singer is using his musical talents to pay tribute to veterans in a song called “Unbroken,” which paints a picture of a man who comes back from war with PTSD. It will be part of the documentary “To Be Of Service,” about military members and their dogs according to USA Today. Fans will also note that it will also be included on his upcoming album “2020.”
