John Ritter's Family Shared Memories Of Late Actor

Actor and comedian John Ritter was a beloved and entertaining character that many people loved during the 80s and 90s. Sadly, the celebrity passed away in 2003 at a young age of 54 from an unexpected vascular incident.

He is perhaps best known for his starring role in the hit sitcom "Three's Company," but he also was seen in some great movies along with Billy-bob Thornton and other iconic actors.

John's son and widow recently shared some thoughts about their father and husband. Jason said that he always admired his father's sense of humor and the unique way he could push boundaries in his performance. Jason said that he still watches the old sitcom episodes. He revealed that his dad loved to explore how strange he could act to see how people would react. John also starred in the hit series "8 Simple Rules."

John's widow Amy spoke about how her late husband loved to entertain people, and he enjoyed seeing a smile on people's faces. She described it as improving the weather in people's hearts. He felt that it was one of his gifts to be able to do that. He not only shared his talent with worldwide audiences, but he brought joy to his family also. He particularly loved to make his kids laugh.

His son explained that he rarely got mad at his dad because, if he became irritated, John would know exactly how to use humor to brighten his mood and distract him from whatever was irking him. Jason said that John was a very loving father, and he attended many of his school plays despite his busy lifestyle as a Hollywood celebrity.

Jason is hoping to follow in his father's footsteps in the acting field, and he strives to make his father proud. He also believes in being honest and living a simple life because his father would have wanted that. Jason has some impressive acting credits that include voice-over roles on the blockbuster movie "Frozen."
