COVID-19 has got us all self-isolating and, although the idea of staying home all day in sweats might be appealing at first, things are bound to get dull eventually. Thankfully, some people are coming up with creative ideas to kill the boredom – including celebrities.

In lieu of the current state of affairs, John Legend has taken to his Twitter account on Monday to announce he will be live-streaming a free concert for fans to enjoy from the comfort of their own home.

This Monday, John Legend took to his official Twitter account to announce he will be live-streaming a concert from his home, after being inspired by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.

“My friend Chris Martin did a lovely little concert from home today. I'll be doing one tomorrow at 1 pm Pacific Time,” Legend’s tweet reads. “See you soon. We'll try to get through this together! #TogetherAtHome”

His wife, Chrissy Teigan, tweeted that she too would be present at the concert – mostly because she doesn’t really have a choice.

And if that wasn’t enough, Legend decided he would be taking requests from fans for songs they would like to hear him play. Teigan then took it upon herself to compile a playlist for her husband based on the songs that got the most requests.

Teigen did not disappoint. So far, the playlist consists of The Office Theme Song – rewritten with new lyrics –, 1-877-Kars-4-Kids, and Scheana Shay's Good As Gold.

The concert will be live-streamed on John Legend’s official Instagram page at 1pm Pacific time. Oh and – we almost forgot to mention – the singer has he hinted he might choose to not wear pants.
