John Legend Posted Adorable Image Of His 'Mini-Me' Son Miles

On Thursday, singer John Legend, 41, posted a photo of his two-year-old son Miles on Instagram and the Internet is gushing over how much the two look alike to one another.

Singer John Legend, 41, took to Instagram on Thursday to share a picture of his two-year-old son, Miles Theodore Stephens. The toddler looked stylish in his maroon sweater, gray track pants, and black sneakers. He posed next to a tree, with one leg pointed out and gave the camera an adorable smirk.

Dad Legend captioned the photo, "Mini-me cautiously/optimistically watching these election results come in." Comments by fans and fellow celebrities alike streamed in, all gushing over how cute the little one looked, and how near-identical he is to Legend.

Mom Chrissy Teigen, 34, also took to Instagram on the same day to post a very similar photo of her son. This time, Miles has a full smile on and is making eye-contact with the camera. Teigen captioned it: "Nooooo noooo too maaaaach cute too machhhh!!!!"

Just like her husband's post, people shared her exact sentiments. One comment read: "Omg literally a little John Legend clone!! So sweet!!!" while another said, "So John cloned himself as a child?"

Miles was born on May 16th, 2018, and is the second child of Legend and Teigen. According to Legend (no pun intended), he was named after Miles Davis, the jazz musician. Miles' big sister Luna was also named after Nina Simone, thus her name Luna Simone Stephens. 

Legend shared during the red carpet at the Billboard Music Awards in 2018: "We named our first daughter Luna Simone Stephens, and every name we give to our kids will have a little bit of musical history," he said. "So Miles, of course, is the same name as the great Miles Davis."

For Miles' first birthday, his parents threw him a birthday party which included a backyard petting zoo. And then for his second birthday this year, they threw him an Elmo-themed birthday party. His mom posted a picture of him sporting an Elmo from Sesame Street t-shirt that said "two" with Elmo's face serving as the 'o.

Back in October, the husband and wife of seven years announced that they had lost their third baby, Jack. Teigen, who is known for being vocal on social media, took a break from it to grieve before coming back online over a month later to comment on one of her husband's posts and let everyone know she is doing ok.

In her post breaking the devastating news she said:

"We are so grateful for the life we have, for our wonderful babies Luna and Miles, for all the amazing things we’ve been able to experience. But every day can’t be full of sunshine. On this darkest of days, we will grieve, we will cry our eyes out. But we will hug and love each other harder and get through it."

Just last week, the couple got matching commemorative tattoos on their wrists that said ‘jack’. Tattoo artist Daniel Winter posted the art done on the celebrity couple on his Instagram earlier this week.  "My heart is with you, sending you all the love!" wrote Winter.
