John Legend created a seductive version of his number one hit "All of Me," by teaming up with sensational violinist Lindsey Stirling. They performed together for a video for the single in 2013.

John Legend's musicality is almost genetic. Music runs through his family. His grandmother taught him how to play the piano, and he grew up surrounded by song – his mother directed the church choir that John would regularly sing in and his father was a drummer. While music was always in his life, he studied literature at college, and it was only after graduating that his music career really took off.

Lindsey Stirling is equally as impressive. The 33-year-old musician is fast rising to superstar status, and her collaboration with John Legend has certainly seen the combined views on her YouTube channel rocket to over 400 million, reports USA Today. Talented Lindsey is known for being a dubstep violinist, but she also sings and dances, and often combines all three!

At 41 years old, John Legend is one of only 15 people in the world to reach EGOT status. EGOT status means the star has won an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar, and a Tony Award. And to top it all off, he was only 39 years old when he achieved this.

"All of Me" was written for his wife Chrissy Teigen, and the lyrics are tender and beautiful. The song is an incredible gift to her, and a wonderful gift to the world.
